Alfa Romeo Montreal

1972

The Alfa Romeo Montreal is a sports coupé resulting from a design study by Marcello Gandini, for Bertone and was presented at the Universal Exhibition in Montreal in 1967.

3,925 examples were produced between December 1970 and July 1974 and marketed until 1977. Its 90° V8 engine, four overhead camshafts (two per row of cylinders), with a power of 200 hp, comes directly from of the 2-litre V8 from the racing Alfa 33.

The contained weight of this coupé made it possible to reach 220 km/h.
