Alfa Romeo GT

2003

The Alfa Romeo GT is a coupe produced by the Italian brand Alfa Romeo from 2003 to 2010. Presented at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, it will be marketed during the summer.
In the manufacturer's range, it takes up the style of the front end and almost all of the dashboard of the compact Alfa Romeo 147 sedan but it is based on the platform of the Alfa Romeo 156 family sedan, which gives it a longer relatively large for a coupé.
In fact, it is clearly presented as a real 5-seater vehicle and not a 2+2, unlike the GTV coupe, which it has not replaced (its real successor being in fact the Brera). Its "family" side is also accentuated by the presence of a large trunk (for the category) which is opened by a tailgate.
The production of the V6 "Busso" was stopped in the summer of 2007, The Alfa Romeo GT is, with the 166 and the 147 GTA, the last of the brand to be equipped with it
