Biturbo

1982

@H01-01.jpg

At the beginning of the 80s, Italian laws strongly penalized cars with a cubic capacity of more than 2l. Maserati innovated in 1982, by offering a car that incorporated a 1996 cm3 V6 with two IHI turbos as standard: the aptly named Biturbo.

The base model will be available in many versions and will be improved and optimized until 1989.

The stylistic trend is at sharp angles, and Andreani, taking up the codes of the QP3, offers an angular design but compact and dynamic.

Despite initial imperfections, the Biturbo is the GT that will save Maserati.
