5000GT Pininfarina
1961
After the 3 copies of the 5000GT Touring, the other coachbuilders are trying to dress the most powerful GT of the time driven by the thundering V8 of the 450S.
The Pininfarina version was created at the request of Giovanni Agnelli, taking inspiration more than largely from the Ferrari 400 Superamerica presented two years earlier in Turin.
Its difficult physique, in particular due to the very massive front grille, was not a great success and this model will remain unique.
Note that Maserati did not authorize the use of the trident on the grille.
