8C 2500
1930
The 8C 2500 is a Tipo 26 M “Biposto”. The first 2.5 liter Tipo 26 190 hp compressor from 1930 had a narrow “Monoposto” fuselage (Tipo 26 M). But we still needed to bring a second driver mechanic sometimes in the long races and we created a lot of 26 M "Biposto" !!! hence the name 8C 2500. A total of 14 specimens of Tipo 26 M from 1930 to 1932.
