A6 1500GT MM 48
1948
To finance the costs of car racing, MASERATI creates its first "Stradale" based on the racing 6CS.
Dressed by Pinifarina, a prototype was presented in 1947 in Geneva.
Futuristic lines, innovative tubular chassis, it is driven by a 6 Cyl in line of 1488 Cm3, which gives 65 Ch with 1 carburetor, 90 Ch with 3.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
It will be the only GT car in which the MASERATI Brothers will have participated: they will found OSCA shortly after.
Some modern models borrow elements from the 1947 prototype, such as the 3 air vents on the front fender
