2010
The company Intercar was founded in 1993 by William, Vanni and Maurizio Gualtieri, with the main aim of building hearses. In the beginning, they converted Mercedes-Benz limousines in a conventional way. Since 2000, however, they have also used other basic vehicles and implemented their own design elements.
One of their best model is the amazing Q500 is based on the Maserati Quattroporte (2009).
In addition to funeral vehicles, Intercar also builds vehicles designed for public and private use, such as stretch limousines based on the Chrysler 300C (2007), the RX400 pick-up limousine based on the Ssangyong Rexton (2006) and the X300R (2006), a stylistic modification of the Mercedes-Benz E320 estate.
Today, Intercar is part of the OMR Automotive Group.
