Birdcage 75th
2005
Introduced at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, the Pininfarina Birdcage 75th is named to pay homage to Maserati's rear-engined Birdcage series and to celebrate Pininfarina's 75th anniversary.
We owe its design to Jason Castriota led by Kiyoyuki Okuyama within the Pininfarina design office.
It is built on the basis of a Maserati MC12 GT1 from 2004, from which it uses the 6 L V12 engine increased to 700 hp.
This magnificent concept car can be seen at the Pininfarina museum.
